From new installations to system upgrades, our team can help you plan commercial air conditioning that suits your property and day-to-day requirements.

Keep your commercial space comfortable with air conditioning designed around your building and operations. Trimech provides commercial HVAC design, installation and ongoing service for businesses across regional NSW.

Commercial air conditioning needs to work around the building, the people using it and the demands of daily operations. Trimech designs, installs and supports commercial HVAC systems, including ducted and multi-zone solutions, for a wide range of business environments across regional NSW.

Commercial air conditioning is designed for buildings where comfort and climate control need to work around larger spaces, different zones and the way the site operates each day.
A well-planned commercial air conditioning system can provide heating and cooling across the building while giving businesses greater control over different areas.
From customer-facing venues to workplaces and specialised facilities, commercial systems can be planned around the building's size, layout and everyday use.
Choosing commercial air conditioning means looking beyond the unit. The building, how different spaces are used, and ongoing system needs can all influence the right approach.
Commercial air conditioning installation costs vary. Smaller installations may cost a few thousand dollars, while larger HVAC projects can run well beyond $30,000.
Current Australian estimates put a commercial split at roughly $2,500–$7,500 installed, while ceiling cassette installations can range from around $4,000–$9,500. Small commercial ducted or packaged systems may cost approximately $12,000–$30,000.
Larger commercial buildings and multi-zone systems generally need more equipment and a more involved installation. VRV or VRF systems are commonly priced based on the number of indoor units, with current Australian estimates ranging from $3,500 to $7,500 per indoor unit.
Using data from our own commercial air conditioning service jobs, we’ve identified the issues Trimech technicians most commonly diagnose.
Data as of October 2026
Technicians recorded VRV and cassette units in fault where PCBs, control boards or thermistors had failed and required attention.
These jobs involved rooms or packaged units not heating, not cooling or delivering airflow as expected during technician testing.
Leaking indoor units were traced to condensate drain or pump issues, including faulty pumps and heavily blocked drain pumps.
Technicians recorded refrigerant leaks or gas loss on VRV systems, with low refrigerant stopping normal system operation in some jobs.
The figures above are Trimech own estimates, based on patterns we've observed across our internal job records tagged to commercial air conditioning jobs - not an independent industry study. Parts required will vary by cause and property.
Every commercial site has different requirements. We start by understanding the property and your heating and cooling needs, then plan the right commercial air conditioning installation for the space.
